ABOUT JAMIATUL FURQUAN

JAMIATUL FURQUAN was established in the year 1996 by our honorable founder Late Mr. Moulana Qutubuddin (Rahmatullahi Alai). Since then jamia has attracted 30 women scholars for the noble cause of educating more than 600 students at annual budget of INR 6,00,000. Jamia is totally dependent on the generosity of well-wishers donating in the form of Zakat and charities.

The jamia focuses on Muslim girls education with intense concentration on Quran and Sunnah. The jamia also provides training on specialized skills such as Computer Training, Machine Embroidery, Hand Embroidery, Mehndi Designing, Tailoring, Home Science, etc.

The jamia has successfully completed several batches of students since it began, and intends to serve a lot further in serving the community. Our jamia is dedicated for girls education only under very Islamic The Quran and sunnah environment. The jamia’s initiative is to support under-privilege children by providing them free education and basic amenities.

Jamiatul Furquan also conducts periodic Camps for distribution of Alms, Fitra, Books, Clothing, etc.
Jamia also organizes Summer Coaching Camp, Medical Treatment Camp, Career Guidance Counseling Camp Annually.

THE VIRTUES OF KNOWLEDGE

﴾يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَـتٍ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ﴿

Allah will exalt in degress those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge. And Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.) {58:11}

"Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim (male and female)." [Sunnan Ibn-e-Majaa]

Allah (Most Exalted is He), who created us and gave us sustenance, has also given us guidance. He said:

"Verily We have created man into toil and struggle… Have We not made for him a pair of eyes; and a tongue, and a pair of lips; and shown him the two ways (obedience and disobedience)?" {90:4-10}

After providing us with the capability to contemplate, think and differentiate between things, He instructed us to know Him, to know his Prophets and to know His Deen-e-Islam. He said:

"So know that there is no god but Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and women. And Allah knows well your moving about, and your place of rest.)" {47:19}

The above verse shows the importance of knowledge and the virtues that Allah has given to it. It also shows that knowledge comes before deeds, since Allah instructed His Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) to know that He is only one to worship. After that, He commanded him to ask forgiveness for himself, his family and for his Ummah.

If Muslims truly realize the importance of Islamic knowledge and virtues, they will definitely be keen to learn and teach others. They would start with themselves and their families; then their neighbors and the community at large!

Seeking knowledge by Islamic teachings based on Quran & Sunnah following the way of life of our beloved Prophet Mohammed (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), by accepting and promoting Islamic teachings, correcting faith (Aqeeda), creating awareness on un-authentic practices, refrain from multi-God Ideologies, un-islamic innovations, illegitimate superstitions, etc.

This kind of divine knowledge can only be acquired at our JAMIA through regular teachings to every deserving child under the guidance of distinguished scholars.
Dear Brother and sisters, today we have an acute requirement to educate our Muslim girls towards correct faith, superior intellectual shariah teachings, technical skill training to make them successful in this world and hereafter, consequently enabling them to carry forward the same teachings to future generations.

JAMIA follows the legacy of the teachings from the companions of Prophet Mohammed (Sallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) to educate every muslim child, quite particularly “Girls” at JAMIATUL FURQUAN.

Free Education for 600 Students. This includes students in regular education, DAWAH and TECHNICAL Training Courses

• Modern Methods of teachings adopted in a purely Islamic Environment.
• System of manners, etiquettes and Hijaab (Pardah) in accordance with Shariah.
• Weekly sessions for improvement in communication and oratory through ISLAHUL BAYAAN.
• All expenses are met by in the form of Zakaat, Donations and Co-operation in any other forms by the philanthropists. (eg.: School Books, Materials, Furnitures etc.)
